A Product Engineer is a professional responsible for the development, implementation of new products or improvements to existing ones. This role typically involves a combination of engineering, project management, and problem-solving skills.
Product Engineers work closely with cross-functional teams, including designers/RnD, vendors, and internal supply chain team for all production related matters.
The primary goal of a Product Engineer is to ensure that the product meets quality standards, adheres to design specifications, and ensures that the final product meets both technical standards and customer needs. This role requires a strong understanding of engineering principles, creativity, and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams ensuring the success of the product in the market.
Key responsibilities
- Management of production parts outgoing quality to ensure compliance to internal, external and customer specific requirements
- Monitoring of Product Assembly, CP, BP and FT Yields
- Management of general yield improvement and test time reduction programs
- Support suppliers on necessary device knowledge for efficient execution
- Prepare documentations and reports related to process/product qualifications, 2nd sourcing activities & device migration for production flexibility and quality
- Provide technical support and address customer inquiries related to product functionality, troubleshooting, or improvements.
- Drive corrective actions and continuous improvement to programs related issues
Key Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree within a relevant field
- At least three years of experience within semiconductor manufacturing, IC design, or product engineering
- Experience with JMP and Galaxy
- The ability to navigate in a global matrix organization
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English

A deep technical understanding of semiconductor manufacturing, IC design, or product engineering is crucial.
