Over the last years, we have expanded our global workforce significantly, which places increased demand on how we support our business operations. In order to meet this demand, we are now looking for 2 Application Support Engineers to join our IT team in Alabang.
As one of our Application Support Engineers, you will ensure that we support and maintain our core ERP systems and integration engines. The ERP systems are based on IFS, Microsoft Dynamics and in-house applications and middleware solutions that are microservice based. These are currently being migrated to Microsoft Azure. The inhouse developed applications are based on NodeJS, Nginx, Redis and Microsoft SQL Server solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Ensure timely support, operation and reliability of all ERP solutions and relevant integrations
- Troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve technical issues related to the ERP environment
- Monitor system performance, security and scalability through relevant monitoring and logging tools
- Manage and support integration engines and data flow between systems
- Ensure that data exchange is seamless, reliable and continuously improved
- Act as second-level support for all ERP-related incidents and service requests
- Work closely with developers, IT teams and business users to analyze and resolve incidents
- Identify opportunities for improvements in performance, automations and workflows
- Document best practices and incident resolutions for knowledge sharing
Key Qualifications
- Relevant IT education or work experience
- Experience working with ERP systems
- Experience with integration and middleware solutions
- Familiarity with cloud environments and relevant tools, preferably Azure
- Some proficiency is backend development and middleware, such as Node.js, Nginx, Redis and MS SQL Server
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools

- You need to have a problem-solving mindset, and you like to identify areas for improvement
- You are good at communicating and collaborating with different stakeholders, both end-users, developers and architects
- You are proactive and self-motivated to get the job done, and you are able to work independently
- You are good at documenting fixes, workflows, improvements and best practices
