About the job
We are seeking a highly organized and driven Project Manager to join our team in Trondheim, Norway. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that projects are carried out according to the Nordic Semiconductors quality system, preparing and maintaining project plans, managing and coordinating project teams, and overseeing the secure execution of R&D projects. Key responsibilities include allocating resources, supporting production ramp-up, and handling orders and quotations. Candidates should have a degree in electrical engineering or a related field, exposure to project management methodologies, and excellent communication skills.
Key responsibilities
- Using the process flow, ensure that the project is carried out according to the Nordic Semiconductors quality system.
- Prepare and maintain a project plan in accordance with the quality system
- Manage and coordinate the people associated with the project, including communication of goals, task planning and execution, and reporting of hours used in the project.
- Responsible for securing project activities from start to completion (handover to another team) for the duration of the R&D Project with support from the product security team, including subcontractors potentially involved.
- Allocate resources to the project with the necessary expertise and experience in consultation with the Manager Design Group/R&D Director.
Key Qualifications
- Bachelor or Master of Science degree in electrical engineering or other relevant technical field.
- Experience with IC development.
- Strong understanding of quality systems and process flow.
- Ability to manage and coordinate cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Great written and verbal skills in English
- Able to navigate a global matrix organization
