Accounting Manager

As Accounting Manager you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger accounting, accounts payable and receivable, and financial reporting. This role requires a combination of technical accounting expertise and strong leadership skills to ensure that the accounting function supports the Nordic Semiconductor’s goals and objectives. Key responsibilities
- Manage the organization's accounting operations, ensuring accurate and timely recording of financial transactions
- Oversee the month-end and year-end closing processes, including preparation of financial statements
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, including vendor and customer relationships
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial data
- Manage and develop a team of accounting professionals, providing guidance as needed
Key Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
- Strong technical accounting expertise, including experience with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (IFRS) and financial reporting
- Experience managing accounting operations, including general ledger accounting, accounts payable and receivable, and month-end and year-end closing processes
- Experience developing and implementing accounting policies and procedures
- Strong understanding of financial analysis and reporting
- Preferably previous experience in a supervisory or management role
- Good written and verbal communication skills in both English and Norwegian
