About the job
This role involves working with Wi-Fi protocols, automation, and performance testing to ensure high reliability and efficiency in wireless communication. The position requires a combination of technical expertise and problem-solving skills to analyze, implement, and optimize Wi-Fi standards.
Key responsibilities
- Testing and analysis of Wi-Fi protocols and standards(e.g., IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax), ensuring they meet performance and reliability requirements.
- Wi-Fi protocol analysis using tools like Wireshark.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools to streamline testing processes and enhance protocol performance.
- Conduct testing of Wi-Fi systems, identify issues, and work on debugging and resolving problems related to Wi-Fi connectivity and performance.
Qualification and skills
Educational Background:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.
Technical Expertise:
- Up to 2 years of experience, with a minimum of 1 year in WLAN protocol testing .
- Good understanding of Wi-Fi protocols and standards and analysis using Wireshark or similar tools.
- Knowledge of scripting and automation tools like Shell, Python, etc., is an added value.
Personal Skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to evolving project requirements.
- Proactive and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to document processes and collaborate effectively.
