DevOps and Automation Engineer

We are expanding our R&D capacity and are seeking a talented, experienced DevOps and automation Engineer to support the Bluetooth protocol stack development efforts. In this role, you will manage and develop CI/CD systems and frameworks to ensure robust and efficient software delivery. You will be directly responsible for maintaining build stability, managing CI infrastructure, and coordinating with development teams to resolve integration issues.
This role is a key position in supporting large-scale embedded software development.
Key responsibilities
On a daily basis, your main responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- CI/CD Operations: Design, maintain, and improve Continuous Integration pipelines using Jenkins and Docker to support multi-platform Bluetooth protocol stack development.
- Build & Test Monitoring: Monitor CI systems daily via Grafana and internal tools. Analyze build/test failures and ensure timely resolution or escalation.
- Issue Triage & Communication: Investigate recurring failures, triage root causes, and coordinate with the appropriate teams for resolution and follow-up.
- Infrastructure Maintenance: Maintain and improve infrastructure to ensure reliability, scalability, and automation in build/test pipelines.
- Automation and Tooling: Develop scripts and internal tools (Python, Bash, Groovy, etc.) to improve DevOps workflows, reporting, and traceability.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain clear documentation of pipeline configurations, operational procedures, and failure-handling protocols.
Key Qualifications and skills
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field.
- 3+ years of experience in DevOps or CI-related roles.
- Hands-on experience with Jenkins, Docker, and CI/CD pipeline management.
- Experience with Grafana or other monitoring/logging tools.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, Groovy).
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Ability to communicate clearly with cross-functional development teams.
- Preferred experience and skills in one or more of the following areas:
- Kanban/Scrum Master or other experience with Agile team coordination
- Experience in embedded software development, especially within Bluetooth stack or other wireless protocol projects.
- Familiarity with continuous testing in embedded environments.
- Understanding Git-based workflows and collaborative version control practices
