At Nordic Semiconductor, we are looking for a Senior Verification Engineer to join our short-range digital radio team.
In this role, you will create advanced verification environments, perform comprehensive functional verification, and debug complex design issues to ensure our short-range digital radios - Bluetooth LE, IEEE 802.15.4, NFC, proprietary protocols, and new protocols – deliver with good quality and reliability. You thrive on finding what others miss, building confidence from concept to silicon. Key responsibilities
As a member of the short-range radio team in Nordic Semiconductor you will be responsible for verifying a world-class radio and other peripherals.
- Verification planning, testbench architecture, test implementation
- Analysis of functional/code coverage and managing regression tests
- Identify, analyze, and debug complex design issues, ensuring that all edge cases and corner scenarios are tested and resolved before silicon production
- Stay updated on the latest verification tools, techniques, and methodologies, and contribute to improving verification processes to enhance efficiency, coverage, and quality
We use tools and methodologies like SystemVerilog, UVM, formal property checking, Jenkins, MATLAB, Python.
Key Qualifications
- MSc in electronics engineering or equivalent or BSc with relevant industry experience
- Experience with SystemVerilog or other hardware description languages
- Experience with UVM or other structured verification frameworks
- Experience with languages like C, C++, tcl, or Python
- Knowledge of verification planning and coverage driven test development
- Debugging skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of Bluetooth or other wireless standards
- Familiarity with Jenkins, Git, FPGA, Emulation, formal property checking
- Understanding of power-aware verification concepts, such as multiple clock/power domains
