We are seeking a Field Application Engineer to join our sales team and contribute to drive the success of Nordic's cutting-edge solutions in the ASEAN region. This exciting position offers the opportunity to work directly with key customers, understanding their applications and use cases while proactively showcasing the value of Nordic's innovative technologies. You'll leverage your expertise in embedded systems, C programming, and wireless protocols to provide timely technical solutions, support regional sales managers and distributors, and deliver impactful training sessions. If you're a self-motivated problem-solver with strong communication skills and a passion for staying at the forefront of technology, this role offers the perfect blend of technical challenges, customer engagement, and professional growth in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Key responsibilities
Including but not limited to:
- Understand the customer applications and use cases
- Proactively sell Nordic solutions to key customers
- Successfully articulate the Nordic value proposition both in correspondence and in presentation settings
- Respond to technical inquiries and provide solutions in a timely manner
- Be available to support RSMs, distributers, and representatives§
- Continue to develop their own knowledge and abilities within their area of expertise
- Support and train distributors in the region
Key Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of embedded systems
- Experience in C programming/debugging
- Experience with test equipment (oscilloscope, logic analyzer etc)
- Experience in working directly with customers
- Experience with wireless protocols (Bluetooth, Wifi, cellular, etc.) is a strong advantage
- Strong/fluent in written and spoken English

They must have excellent problem-solving abilities to understand customer applications, address technical inquiries, and provide timely solutions. The role also demands adaptability, self-motivation, and a commitment to continuous learning to stay updated on Nordic solutions and industry trends. Additionally, strong organizational and collaboration skills are crucial for supporting and training distributors, as well as coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to drive customer success.
