Nordic Semiconductor’s product portfolio is rapidly expanding, and to support this growth the Short-Range Customer Success department is looking to recruit an IC Hardware Root-Cause Analysis Engineer to identify, analyze and find resolutions to complex IC-hardware related issues and customer cases. The position covers all aspects of root-cause analysis from defining the problem, early containment, root-cause resolution, corrective measurements to preventive actions on IC-hardware design processes, and documentation.
You will work on low-level integrated circuit (IC) hardware related cases within the Analog, RF, Digital, and Architectural disciplines. You will be part of a team focusing on IC-hardware root-cause analysis and customer support, and you will get the opportunity to work in close cooperation with the IC-hardware design teams. You will also work with other parts of the organization such as test and verification, supply chain, failure analysis lab and quality department to coordinate activities related to customer cases or root-cause analysis.

Key responsibilities
- Conduct root-cause analysis on complex internal or customer-related IC-hardware technical challenges
- Provide relevant and high-quality feedback to customers on IC-hardware related issues
- Coordinate between the different design teams and stakeholders on cross-discipline IC-hardware support cases
- Develop and improve the IC-hardware design process and documentation
Key Qualifications
- Bachelor, Masters, or PhD in a relevant science or engineering discipline
- A solid theoretical background in analog CMOS circuit design, RF design, or digital RTL design
- Relevant industrial experience in integrated digital or analog/RF integrated circuit design and verification
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English
- Strong collaboration skills
