The Analog IP Design Team in the IP Design Group at Nordic Semiconductor is a part of the Short-Range business unit. We work to grow Nordic´s full portfolio and impact, and develop IPs that are common to all our BUs. We are a dynamic and vibrant team, focused on innovation to maintain and strengthen Nordic´s position within wireless connectivity globally.
The role of Senior/Staff/Principal Analog and Mixed Signal IC Designer offers an interesting opportunity to influence and create value from day one. The position will be responsible for specifying and designing analog/mixed-signal IPs. You will collaborate with the Analog IP Design Team to ensure a Nordic approach to designing analog/mixed signal IPs, while contributing your personal expertise and experience to drive continuous development.
This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence the design and quality of our products, as well as the direction of the Analog IP Design Team at Nordic. You will directly contribute to the company's success, helping to create ultra-low-power wireless technologies that will benefit the lives of billions worldwide.
Key responsibilities
The job involves a range of activities which may vary over time. On a regular basis, your areas of responsibility include:
- Analog/Mixed Signal system analysis, specification, design and verification
- Assisting the team lead in producing excellent analog and/or mixed signal-systems for our SoCs
- Module and sub-system design of analog and/or mixed signal modules
- Transistor level circuit design in CMOS
- Specification of test strategy, and test case descriptions for IPs
- Contributions to design process and methodology
Key qualifications
- Master or PhD in a relevant science or engineering discipline
- Preferably 7 years or more (senior, staff or principal level) of direct relevant industrial experience in integrated circuit design of analog and/or mixed signal circuits
- A deep understanding of CMOS transistors and analog circuits
- A solid theoretical background and experience in designing analog and/or mixed signal circuits at the transistor level in CMOS technology
- Fluent English language skills (written and oral)
