As a Wi-Fi Test Engineer at Nordic, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and performance of cutting-edge WLAN products. By executing Wi-Fi Alliance pre-certification tests, developing and maintaining robust test plans, and collaborating with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment, you will help drive the quality of next-generation products. Key responsibilities

• Execute Wi-Fi Alliance pre-certification tests and validate compliance with relevant standards.
• Conduct testing and analysis for WLAN technologies including 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax/be.
• Verify and analyze WLAN features such as WPA/WPA2/WPA3, WPS, WMM, u-APSD, and 802.1x authentication schemes.
• Develop and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and test reports.
• Design and implement test beds based on specifications and industry standards.
• Use network analyzers (e.g., Wireshark, tcpdump) to debug, isolate, and resolve issues.
• Collaborate with development teams in an Agile environment to ensure timely delivery of quality releases.
• Contribute to test automation using Python and support test tools/scripts written in shell scripting.
• Communicate findings, risks, and recommendations clearly through written reports and verbal presentations.

Key Qualification and skills

• Extensive hands-on experience in the Wi-Fi domain
• Strong expertise in Wi-Fi Alliance pre-certification testing
• Deep knowledge of WLAN protocols (802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax/be) and security features (WPA/WPA2/WPA3, 802.1x)
• Proficiency in Python, C, and shell scripting
• Excellent communication skills in English
• Creating detailed test plans and analyzing test reports.
• Ability to design and deploy test beds from standards documentation.
• Hands-on experience with network analyzers for debugging and root cause analysis.
• Experience with Agile software development methodologies.
