Product Designer, IoT Cloud Developer Tools
Design the tools that firmware and IoT engineers rely on to build, debug, and operate connected devices at scale.
About the job
We are seeking a self-starting and crafty Product Designer to play a key role in shaping the direction and user experience of a deeply technical platform used by firmware and IoT engineers to monitor, debug, and maintain connected devices at scale. Our cloud platform builds on the Memfault device observability tools acquired by Nordic in 2025, combined with location, over-the-air update, security, and device messaging services. You will have direct ownership of product direction alongside product managers and engineers. With your focus on clarity and usability, data‑driven mindset, and excellent cross-team collaboration skills, you will help shape impactful product experiences. This is a unique opportunity to define the overall product experience with the support of a talented and dedicated team.

Turn complex use cases into simple, user-friendly experiences
Contribute to and maintain the design system across our product
Key Qualifications

Advanced proficiency in Figma, including components, variants, auto-layout, and prototyping
Strong background in user research, testing, and data-driven design decisions
Understanding of systems thinking and component-based design patterns
Experience with cross-functional work
Personal Skills
The ideal candidate brings strong visual and written communication skills, as well as the ability to clearly present design work and stand behind their decisions. With a sharp eye for detail and a passion for simplicity and usability, you craft elegant solutions that make a real impact. You thrive in collaboration and enjoy working closely with diverse, cross‑functional teams to shape outstanding product experiences.
