About the job
We are looking for a Technical Writer / Information Architect to join our documentation team. You will play a key role in creating and maintaining documentation for Nordic’s products, working closely with engineering, product, and support teams.
In this role, you will contribute not only to content creation, but also to how documentation is structured, maintained, and delivered across platforms. This includes working with structured content (DITA), improving documentation workflows, and supporting how documentation integrates into developer workflows.
You will also contribute to ongoing work related to automation and AI-supported documentation workflows, and how documentation can be improved based on usage and feedback.
This is an opportunity to work on documentation as part of a broader system, supporting developers working with Nordic technologies.
Key responsibilities
Create and maintain technical documentation using DITA
Structure content to support clarity, reuse, and scalability
Participate in shaping the future of AI-empowered information sharing and documentation workflows
Work closely with developers and product teams to understand features and use cases
Contribute to improvements in documentation workflows and processes
Support documentation delivery across platforms and tool
Key Qualifications
Experience with technical documentation or working in an engineering or technical environment
Ability to understand technical concepts and communicate them clearly
Experience working with cross-functional teams, particularly engineering
Ability to structure and organize information for clarity and reuse
Experience with structured authoring (e.g. DITA-OT, markdown, XML)
Familiarity with Git or other version control systems
