About the job
We are looking for a Product Manager (Team Lead) to head up the Market and Analytics team in our Short Range Product Management department. In this strategic hands-on leadership role, you will guide a high-impact team in shaping Nordic’s next-generation short-range wireless SoCs supporting Bluetooth® Low Energy, Thread, Matter, Zigbee, and more – our devices and software are trusted by thousands of global customers and deployed in billions of devices worldwide.
The team’s responsibilities include performing deep-dive use case analysis, market trends and forecasting, as well as leading the competitive benchmarking process. You will collaborate directly with key customers, Sales, Customer Success and the wider product team to maintain and communicate a clear view of market needs.
Key responsibilities
Lead, coach, and develop the Short Range Market & Analytics team of Technical Product Managers, setting clear objectives and methodologies to ensure effective delivery and team growth.
Own the development and continuous refresh of the 5‑year market outlook for short-range wireless markets, including sizing, forecasting, and analysis of technology trends and emerging opportunities that inform product investment decisions.
Oversee in-depth use-case research and market requirements gathering across target verticals. Consolidate fragmented customer feedback into coherent insights that drive product definition and roadmap direction.
Establish structured competitive analysis processes for short-range products, monitoring competitor roadmaps and emerging technologies. Deliver clear assessments of competitive threats and opportunities to shape portfolio strategy and resource allocation.
Ensure strong alignment between stakeholders. Communicate the multi-year market outlook and key insights across teams and to leadership to drive unified strategic planning.
Key Qualifications
Demonstrated success in product management or technical leadership roles
Experience in analyzing commercial data and developing multi-year market forecasts
Ability to connect product decisions to market needs and opportunities while balancing technical constraints and business priorities.
Experience translating customer and market requirements into clear technical specifications and well-structured product documentation (e.g. PRDs).
Understanding of wireless microcontroller and connectivity technologies
University-level education within electronics, computer, or other similar topics.
