Technical Product Manager
About the job
We are looking for a Technical Product Manager (TPM) to join our Short Range Business Unit’s Product Management team. In this role, you will drive the definition, development, and success of our next-generation short-range wireless SoCs supporting Bluetooth® Low Energy, Thread, Matter, Zigbee, and more – our devices and software are trusted by thousands of global customers and deployed in billions of devices worldwide.
This hands-on role requires both deep technical engagement and strong business insight. You will work closely with key customers, R&D, Sales, and Customer Success teams to turn market needs and feedback into clear product direction, leading products through concept, development, and launch while ensuring they meet market needs and achieve sustained commercial success.
Key responsibilities
Manage one or more short-range SoC platforms end-to-end, from initial definition through development and market introduction, ensuring successful launches and in-market success.
Define target use cases and clear product positioning for new short-range products and drive comprehensive Product Requirements Documents (PRDs) that integrate hardware, software, and development tool needs into a coherent product definition.
Define go-to-market deliverables and criteria for launch readiness; work with Product Marketing to prepare launch plans and effective sales/marketing materials.
Track design wins, customer adoption, volume forecasts, and other metrics to assess product performance. Gather in-market feedback and feed insights into product improvements and roadmap updates.
Contribute to long-term short-range product strategy and roadmap by monitoring market trends, evaluating the competitive landscape and consolidating customer requirements to support roadmap prioritization.
Key Qualifications
Proven experience managing complex technology product requirements from concept through development to production launch.
Demonstrated ability to make data-driven product decisions, balancing market needs with technical constraints and business priorities.
Familiarity with hardware and software development processes (e.g. semiconductor or wireless product development) and agile methodologies.
Understanding of wireless microcontrollers and connectivity (e.g., Bluetooth and other protocols)
Experience with how customers use wireless MCUs, SDKs, and tools in real applications; hands-on embedded electronics or software design experience is a plus
University-level education within electronics, computer science or a similar topic
Personal Skills
The ideal candidate is a clear and confident communicator who naturally bridges customer needs, technical complexity, and product vision, creating alignment and momentum across a wide range of stakeholders. With a highly organized and analytical mindset, you are comfortable managing multiple complex products in parallel, applying a pragmatic approach to problem‑solving that turns challenges into forward progress. You operate with a strong sense of ownership and sound judgment, knowing when to collaborate broadly and when to take decisive initiative to maintain speed and focus. Above all, you are a collaborative and customer‑focused team player, motivated by helping customers succeed and energized by working in dynamic, cross‑functional environments where shared goals and real impact matter.
