Technical Sales Engineer, East-China

In this role, you will engage with leading customers and distribution partners at a strategic level, identifying and advancing high-value opportunities toward successful design wins while strengthening Nordic’s position as a trusted technology partner. Through disciplined pipeline management, accurate forecasting, and close collaboration with internal experts, you will ensure consistent delivery and operational excellence. At the same time, you will leverage your deep understanding of the local market to provide meaningful insights into industry trends and competitor developments, supporting informed decision-making and sustainable business growth in a highly competitive environment.
Key responsibilities
Develop sales strategy for specific assigned territory, assess and qualify sales opportunities and achieve product design wins with customers for all Nordic products
Maintain relationships with customers including coordinating visits, providing product updates, and collaborate on desired product features
Manage distribution partnerships including maintaining the mindshare within the partner for Nordic through regular visits, product trainings, and opportunity review
Record all sales activities in our CRM system and provide accurate sales forecasts both internally and for key customers
Utilize internal resources including the Strategic Application Managers and Field Application Engineers
Support Product Managers with market intelligence by staying up to date on industry trends and competitor products
Key Qualifications
Several years of proven technical sales experience within the semiconductor industry
Experience with strategic selling – identifying decision makers, setting sales objectives, leveraging strengths, managing an opportunity pipeline, tracking performance, etc.
Ability to work with customers to develop solutions that meet their needs.
Experience with wireless products and technologies and/or cloud/software services is preferred.
Proven technical management and ability to lead/inspire/motivate distribution partners.
Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken
A bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline is preferred, experience may be considered in Lieu of a degree.
